HOW TO RESERVE:

301 Philosophy Hall may not be reserved, as it is open graduate student interaction space. To reserve the 302 Philosophy Hall conference room, please visit https://gsas.columbia.edu/graduate-life/graduate-student-center, and submit a reservation https://studentcenter.gsas.columbia.edu/. Please note that you must be a recognized IGB (or graduate) group to make a reservation! Reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance.

HOW TO RESERVE

 

To reserve space in Lerner, use the University Event Management (UEM) website.

Your login is NOT your UNI! You will need to visit the UEM office in person to activate your account.

The UEM office is on the 7th floor of Lerner. The elevators by the 2nd floor Piano Lounge will go up to the 7th floor. UEM is located through the glass doors to your left once you exit the elevator. Just tell the receptionist you have a question about the online reservation system, and someone will be able to help you.

 

Once you have access to the UEM website:

Use the Find a Space link to search for types of space.

Once you know what space you want, fill out the Space Request Form as accurately as possible.

After you submit the form, you will get a confirmation email.

Lerner Hall is available for student group use for requests 5+ days in advance, < 5 days in advance, and for same day requests. All other buildings that go through the UEM website will require 5+ days to book.

HOW TO RESERVE

To reserve these spaces, use the University Event Management (UEM) website.

To reserve space in Uris Hall, please visit the following website: https://www8.gsb.columbia.edu/ems/

 

QUESTIONS

The best way to have questions addressed is to go speak to someone in Uris. Go to the first office on the left and ask to speak to someone about space reservations. Keep in mind that the space is usually for B-School groups, so make sure to let them know you’re recognized under SDA in Lerner.

To reserve space in the IRC, email [email protected] at least one week prior to your desired event date. You can also go to Marta Esquilin’s office on the ground floor of the IRC to ask her about space reservations.
